When you look at all the fuss that was made about nothing concerning Lodge Bridge of Fellowship in Hannover over the last year, resulting in the lodge being suspended and the rights of it's members severely compromised by very dubious actions including the illegal removal, yes ok let's call it by it's proper name, the THEFT of equipment and property of the lodge belonging to the brethren at the behest of the Grand Master as well as threats and intimidation being made in order to prevent free men from actually talking and meeting with each other, you would think it couldn't get worse. Well in similar circumstances to 929, Beaver lodge went through a prolonged period of much of the same thing involving many resignations, unlawful suspensions and exclusions and threats from Grand Lodge to close it down. Prior to both of these lodges suddenly coming under the over zealous eye of Grand Lodge, both were in fine fettle with happy brethren and work but more importantly a vision of a future which looked positive. In both cases it would seem that one particular brother, namely me, was respobsible for everything. Well it depended on which paper you read of course but now, after Beaver Lodge was "saved" from my ravages and transgressions against the regulations, look what position those experienced brethren who enabled Beaver to come through this previously non-existent crisis, have managed to manoeuvre themselves into. Just read the following, any further comment from me would be overdoing it:

Last year(2007), on the 12th of December to be exact, a court paper was issued which clearly states that I resigned from Beaver Lodge No.85 on the 12th of December 2007 and that there was no money owing for subscriptions. Since then I have attempted to obtain a Certificate of Good standing. This would be quite simple you'd think but no. Beaver Lodge are still not able to do this after almost 11 months. Is it any wonder that I now have to threaten a Contempt of Court charge against those responsible? I mean, wouldn't you fel that 11 months is a reasonable length of time? You can read the court papers elsewhere on this site.
I have now advised the lodge that I am still considering myself to be a member until such time as they issue me with a certificate of good standing. As I am still a member I am now horrified that the lodge is being closed down and that Bros Woodhouse and Smith are in the process of "liquidating" it. This is akin to a final solution as by liquidating the lodge they are legally bound to transfer all funds that are left to the Freimaurerische Hilfswerk e.V.
I am assuming that due to the very small number of members, closure has been seen to be an inevitable course of action, but it is a scandal that so many members of Beraver Lodge know nothing about it and therefore the legality of what they are doing has to be questioned. All members of Beaver Lodge will be receiving some information in the coming few days and they should take particular note about what is written regarding the lodge funds. We don't want anybody getting their hands on these funds do we. It cannot be necessary to transfer the funds from the lodge account to any other account unless it be that of the Freimaurerische Hilfswerk. I shall certainly inform the necessary authorities if anybody tries to have this money moved to another account and I would urge all members of Beaver to write to the lodge and demand the same.
I have had confirmation today that Messrs Woodhouse and Smith do intend to take the money from Beaver Lodge No.885 e.V. when they close it down. I have been in correspondence with lots of Beaver members who know NOTHING about this. I have told these members that I will inform the relevant civil authorities of the intention of these two brethren and that this has not been done with either the wishes of the membership being taken into consideration, nor with the articles of association beimg adhered to. Both of these matters being reason for civil if not criminal action against Messrs Woodhouse and Smith.
The real heart of the matter here though is why would they want to try to get the lodge and it's money out of the legal state of being a registered association in the first place? Any ideas? I shall be writinmg mine in a coiuple of days but in the meantime if you have any ideas or questions on this matter, email me on pjgw@glbfg.de
